The Collections Trust Awards 2015 - nominations open!

Nominations are now open for the Collections Trust Awards, which will be taking place at the Collections Trust Annual Conference at the Natural History Museum in London on 22 September 2015.

If you’ve completed a great project or a colleague has demonstrated exceptional expertise during the past year, then you should enter the Collections Trust Awards 2015. Presented during the conference, the Awards are the pinnacle of recognition for all those in the Collections Management community.

Applications are welcome from arts and cultural organisations in the UK. Judges will assess nominations on the basis of eligibility, excellence, impact on sustainability and innovation.


The awards for which nominations are currently being sought are:

  • Collections Manager of the Year Award – this award recognises and celebrates the achievements of a Collections Manager in a UK Museum that has ‘made a difference’ (Nominations only).
  • Collections Practice Award – This award celebrates projects which demonstrate the application of innovation practice to improve the sustainability and use collection arts and cultural organisations.
  • Participatory Practice Award – The award highlights an exceptional example of how participatory practice has benefitted a museum by enhancing its relationships with its users.
  • Collections on a Budget Award – The aim of this award is to celebrate projects which demonstrate improvement in collections management by organisations with a turnover of less than £500,000. The winner of this award will receive a prize of £500
