‘Hello my name is Rachael Hale and I’m a freelance history writer for Kent Life magazine.  I write a regular ‘History Scrapbook’ style feature for the magazine which highlights object and archive stories related to a particular month.  I’m now seeking items to feature in the September and December 2015 issues (which can include anything given as a Christmas present) and the February, May, August and November 2016 issues and I would love to hear from any museum with a relevant piece they would like to see highlighted.  Kent Life magazine works a long way in advance so regardless of which month you may have a piece for, I’d be grateful if you could email me as soon as possible at rachael@historymagpie.com or call me on 07885 055169.  Many thanks for your help.’
