Collections Trust Training Sessions
The South East Museum Development Programme are excited to be working in partnership with the Collections Trust to offer free workshops for museums in the South East of England.
The training sessions will be focussed around areas such as Accreditation, SPECTRUM; Copyright processes and policies and Digital Asset Management.

Call-In Surgery Sessions - Monday 22 August
The Collections Trust's Outreach Officer, Sarah Brown, will be offering pre-arranged 1-1 surgery sessions (via telephone or Skype) to South East museums on a topic of your choice on Monday 22nd August, including:
- Any of the 21 SPECTRUM procedures
- Revisiting and reviewing collections
- Basic Digital Asset Management (DAM) and digital management
- Copyright
To request a surgery session, please email Sarah Brown directly on sarahb@collectionstrust.org.uk, stating what you would like to discuss, and what time-slot you would like.
Please note: this is a first-come-first-served offer and therefore, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Rights Management in Museums - Thursday 15 September
Venue: Worthing Museum and Art Gallery
This workshop will explore the sometimes daunting world of rights management. Together we will look at identifying different rights, including copyright and other intellectual property rights. We will discuss basic principles.
Museum Documentation Day (SPECTRUM) - Thursday 20 October
Venue: The Willis Museum, Basingstoke
One-day seminar to refresh your knolwedge of, and skills associated with, the primary procedures of SPECTRUM, the documentation standard for Accredited Museums.
